I am happy to say that last week I was officially given the title of community news director at 91.7 WEEM. I am very honored to be given the position and hope that I can perform the job to the best of my ability. But I am sure you are wondering, what does that title even mean? And I’d love to explain because you may just be able to help me.
As community news director I will have multiple responsibilities throughout this coming year. My largest responsibility, however, is to prepare a thirty-minute community news segment each week. In doing so I will have to reach out to community sponsors, event hosts, and other establishments throughout Madison County and Indiana to gain interview access to those in charge of the events and to get 91.7 press access. I am excited to gain this kind of responsibility and hope that you as the public can help me.
If you or a loved one is a small business owner, an employee of the town of Pendleton, or are just an involved citizen that stays in touch with whats happening in the community feel free to contact me on the contact page and keep me updated. I appreciate everyone’s help in my endeavors and your continued support of my blog!
